We are delighted to announce the first JVA Writer in Residence is Louisa Elderton.
Louisa is a recent graduate of The Courtauld Institute of Art and is currently working as Assistant Curator of International Projects for James Putnam. She will begin her four month residency in January 2011 and will critically respond to Jerwood Encounters exhibitions Surface Noise (19 January – 27 February) and SHOW (16 March – 21 April).
She will work primarily on the new blog, posting thoughts and essays that open up wider contextual debate surrounding the issues and themes raised in the JVA programme with a focus on national and international issues and trends.
